Multidisciplinary Artist based in Tunisia, has born in Baghdad,
Has a PHD in Science and fine Arts Technologies.
Avant-garde and concrete music composer, poet, and
researcher , interested in visual art and sound installation.
Her imagination goes through listening, she composes
electroacoustics, minimal, experimental sound compositions,
and sound installations, using field recording, sound design
,poetry ,which gives to think and to live sensorial and spatial
experiences.
Adopting the contemporary issues such as wars ,climate
changes, the intangible cultural heritage, underground, urban
culture, interculture.
interested in sound environment, industrial and urban sounds
through Walking around cities, ports, factory, popular street
market(Souk), looking at facial expressions, and records
acoustic experimental sounds. she produces a sonic spaces where the listener is invited to
meet themselves and to experience the variety of sounds and
noises of the infinite space.
Artist statement
Is it a new place appeared across the empty open space?
a space between interiority and exteriority, silence and noise
while the streets are empty and silent and people confined,
isolated in cramped and closed rooms ,their brains were buzzing
with emergency halls, sound of sirens, memories and anxiety.
A noisy soundscape traversing the mind, its frequencies shape a
new psychic place, which multiplies in varied movements and
frequencies.
"Sonic Emergency" is a sound project composed of 5
composition, propose an acoustic perception about the sensory
distances and the psychological places produced by the noise of
the contemporary thoughts, it is an approach to understanding
the new mental and psychic places using a long notes and
rhythmic polyphony.
While creating I focused on auditory perception based on field
recording and electronic experimentation, to produce an
electroacoustic soundscape teleports the listener to other
places, realities and moments captured by memory
