Artists Info- Afghanistan Mon Amour was founded in August 2021 by Brii Bauer aka Power (synthesizer, theremin, voice, cut up loops & electronics) & Sean Derrick Cooper Marquardt (accidental guitar, voice, cut up loops, & electronics). AMA is recognized for their live performances & recordings, dualities of light and dark, stillness and movement, communicated in a language of improvised cut-ups, collages of combined sonic memories, field recordings, streams of consciousness manipulated in random constellations, spiritual growth and connection. The sounds that they create take the audience in different realms of dimensions, which challenges the participants and go deep under their skin.

Between coming and going
Adaption detonates continously
Sisterlove happens
Visitors drop words
On a day like this
Strike rates and system melt together -
thoughtless alloy
Time flows in circles
Sticking on
Rip myself out. Holes in my skin.
Time is running. Out.
Away from me.
Reduced to the place
A child is crying
I´m picking up the tones
Dragging them in loops
This will overwhelm whatever would be left to say
I´m putting every note close to my chest...
Changes are passing by.
(Power)
A tale of two states
lower lip trembling
tommorrow morning lights
in the embassy courtyard
Images of rolling tanks
in the kitchen
the day after
war for peace
Cookie baked the chldren
the best of circumstances
if they promised never
to hurt each other
at the school trip
frequented by drunken sailors
Imagined by the young priest
first lost control
in the last chapter
Drowned words embraced
the night.
